You should probably be planting seeds for most salad and herby stuff but if you want something ridiculously easy to grow from seed get some rocket seeds. I planted mine just a few days ago and they're looking good...

Last year I didn't pick it in time and it went to flower, it's grown back this year and has become a bit of a weed

so I'd suggest growing in a pot and picking when it is young and ready to eat

Regents park

Just a quick blog to suggest if you're in London any time soon to check out Regents Park. The tulips are on display at the moment and there's some lovely varieties

I particularly like these below as they have a feathered edge, and I do love a frill...

Perhaps more exciting is that the rose buds in the rose garden (Queen Mary's) are out which means pretty soon you can see the largest display of roses in London.

Hop to it!

I have an amazing tip. I'd bought some giant Sunflower seeds on eBay and they cost around £5 for 10 (they are a special giant variety). Normal Sunflower seeds in garden centres are usually a few quid for about 10.

I was in a pet shop considering buying a Goldfish when I came across this giant bag of Sunflower seeds - it's Parrott food apparently.

I figured that it's highly unlikely they'll actually grow as they cost me 95p for the giant bag. But I thought I'd give it a go anyway and look...!!!

I never need buy sunflower seeds again!
